This is a Cinnamoroll Appreciation Post
Cinnamon officially debuted in June 2002 as Baby Cinnamon (ベビーシナモン Bebī Shinamon). However, his name would quickly change to simply “Cinnamon” or “Cinnamoroll” in 2003 in an effort to appeal to overseas audiences.
Cinnamoroll, is a white puppy with chubby and pink cheeks, long ears, blue eyes, and a tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. He starred in his own manga series, an anime movie, and various animation shorts.
To the left is Cinnamoroll’s original design, this changes later into him having rounder ears.
This is the most current design of Cinnamoroll. He is shorter and his tail is cinnamon roll shaped.
Cinnamoroll’s Friends
Cinnamoroll is often depicted with sweets. His friends are even named after sweets, such as Mocha, Cappuccino, and Espresso!
Cinnamon was born way above the clouds in the distant sky. One day, he accidentally fell down to the ground, where he met Cafe Cinnamon’s owner, Anna. She took him back to the cafe, where he met his new friends:
- Mocha
- Milk
- Chiffon
- Cappuccino
- Espresso
Anna named him “Cinnamon” because of his cinnamon roll shaped tail. From then on, they decided to live together and make him the face of Cafe Cinnamon.
